>>58402278Didn't want to bloat my team with megas and try new pokemon, but that's suprisingly difficult to do with this dex.
Audino is a pokemon I had always just grinded against, but in a recent nuzlocke, I was actually suprised at how great it was until the end game. It really struggles to keep up, so more special attack and a potential supereffective stab is nice. This will also be the first time anyone has been able to use a Mega Audino in the main story, so it's effectively a new mega and will probably be my go to.
I really love the stat direction of Mega Skarmory, but I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the color, so hopefully I can get a shiny. I've played through Hoenn a few times, but never managed to get one on my team, so it'll be nice to have.
Glaceon competes with Sylveon and Espeon for my favorite eeveelution, but I think this could possibly be the first time that you're actually able to get it before the endgame (didn't play PLA yet so idk about that one).
I absolutely adore the Venipede line, but I haven't picked up the Unova games since that adoration began. Each member is delightful in their own different ways. Since this will be a real time battle format, base speed is probably something that'll either be way overpowered or way underpowered (i think speedy mons were pretty bad in GO) and given the difference between Scolipede's base and mega forms, either way will allow me to find success. I can also be pretty dynamic about which I choose as there is not held item opportunity cost.
I hated the monkeys when they came out, but I also kinda hated Klefki when it came out and yet it's one of my favorites when I stumbled upon it in USUM when I was looking for a new teammate. Maybe Simisear can have that change too.
Meowstic is kinda shit, so unless it gets a major upgrade, I probably won't rely on it too much (but it can put in work unlike Delcatty or Delibird). It is however, very cute, so I think I'll let it tag along, though Furfrou is similarly cute...
