It needed a sequel that built on what it did and improved on the concept. I haven't played Legends ZA but it seems more trainer battle focused while PLA mixed the fun of catching, exploring, and battling. I love trying to cheese the game and capture Pokemon of an extremely higher level without battling. I'm fine with these Legends games having their own indetity but I am hoping the Galar game is what I want from a PLA sequel.

Sinnoh had some unique ruins with unown writing on the wall, multiple floors, or weird puzzles like Turnback Cave.
After BDSP, I guess they don't want to translate them all to 3D. Snowpoint Temple was at least improved.
