They could have literally done anything else with the design, Starmie is a great and effective design that could have gone in a dozen different directions and still worked, a shooting star design, an eldritch brittle star, literally anything and instead they just made it's legs slightly longer and rigged it's model so it awkwardly walks around, I hate Gamefreak, I cannot express how much I hate Gamefreak.
>>58426461Mega evolution is a fantastic concept and has some great designs even now in ZA despite the utter dogshit quality. It's amazing how even the worst Megas from the old batch in Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Manectric actually look alright compared to the horseshit we have now.
I can't even bear to look at Mega Starmie, Mega Feraligatr or Mega Skarmory without becoming violently angry at how utterly dogshit these designs are.
