>>58437860Mega-Z is going to be in Ubers for sure, but it's an inherently risky Pokemon to use. For one, it's a special attacker that Mega-evolves from a physical attacker. Secondly, it needs to hit 50% HP to turn into the form that allows it to Mega-Evolve. That means that you've gotta carefully whittle down your own Pokemon (one that is resistant to Stealth Rocks, by the way) to half HP to trigger the transformation into Zygarde-C before it can make use of the stat you're using it for.
216 Special Attack is horrendous, but you're playing with half a Pokemon until you drop below 50% HP with no safe way to drop it that low. You'll be switching it in to eat stray attacks to drop it that low before you can really use it. Meanwhile Ubers will be filled with Mega-Gengar, Mega-Salamence, Mega-Metagross, Primal Groudon/Kyogre, and maybe even Mega-Fug if power creep has advanced far enough that Ray is acceptable in Ubers.
