The fuck are you on about? Do you even know what a dinosaur is? In terms of Ground types only Torterra could pass as an actual dinosaur since it looks like something related to an Ankylosaurus. Something looking/being prehistoric doesn't mean it's a dinosaur, Pterosaurs aren't dinosaurs, Plessiosaurs aren't dinosaurs and neither are Mosasaurs and quite a few other groups of prehistoric giant reptiles. And in fact it goes even further than that, Therapsids, which lived before the dinosaurs by a significant amount of time were more closely related to mammals than the Archosaurian lineage, which gave way to crocs, birds (direct descendants of Dromeosaurs aka dinosaurs like Velociraptor) and dinosaurs.
There are very few Pokemon (unless you count bird Pokemon I guess) that are just straight up dinosaurs like Tyrantrum or that take direct inspiration from them like with Sceptile and Baxcalibur, which take inspirations from Dromeosaurs in Sceptile's case and then Concavenator and several species of of dinosaurs related to Spinosaurus in Baxcalibur's case. Very few Dragon Pokemon are actually dinosaurs as well besides the few I brought up, the Paradox legendary beasts, Dracozolt and Dracovish by technicality. Dragapult is a Diplocaulus, a Lepospondyl, aka an ancient clade of amphibians.
In short, you don't know what you're talking about, so shut up.

I won't lie Mega Meganium really dissapointed me, I wanted something more more elegant, it feels bit phoned in and generic, reallly messed up how they had the chance to upscale the most boring grass starter and kept it pretty boring, but hey... At least it's not Feraligtr at least..

Dragons across the world are chimeras of animals people thought were imposing, more or less. European dragons take influence from big cats, fish, and reptiles, while Asian dragons for example take influence from… ungulates, fish, and reptiles. Even in the west you have random shit like birds and slugs being turned into dragons in different myths, or a giant dragon disguising itself as a fat cat. “Dragon types are dragon because they’re based on dragons” is more or less the same logic applied to fairies. There isn’t anything specific to dragons beyond being powerful supernatural beasts, so the concept is going to bleed into more general ideas for Pokemon. Same with fairies being spirits of nature that can help or hinder people.

What flower is Mega Meganium inspired by? It reminds me of hydrangeas. If so I can't rightly recall hydrangeas being associated with fae in any way, I know there's a breed called fairytrail bride since I planted some a while back but that's just the name, and it's a breed with exclusively white flowers, not the colorful mix you see on Mega Meganium. I know the flower has some symbolism with vanity and posh things in some European countries, but I'm really struggling to find a reason for the Fairy type here.
Also, it fucking sucks how none of the floral motifs with a lot of history in French culture were chosen for the Mega design in spite of how good they would have looked.

It's dogshit design. The most egregious examples are minmaxed shit like Baxcallibur, Gouging Fire or Ursaluna Bloodmoon.
This is so inorganic some of these pokemon are better than box legendaries like Kyurem or Lugia.
The only reason Meganium got fairy is because it's the best type in the game.
