>>58447463I did a challenge run like this recently, I might do it again and post about it in a team thread if anyone cares; the idea was to use 0 new pokemon and only the shitty random repeats like Barboach and such that took the place of the actual new pokemon and fire/ice/electric types.
I figured using Gyarados / Abra line among a few others (clefairy, gastly, definitely heracross) might make the challenge to easy so it was pearl but with only repeat shitmons. I remember the final team was something like Crobat, Rapidash, Raichu, Octillery, Torterra
I honestly want to try the challenge again because I think I use too “good” of Pokemon and I kept my starter around, if I were to do it again I’d box it.
