The closest company to enjoy such worship is Apple, even Apple brand loyalty is comparable just with Nintendo. Pokemon brand loyalty is whole different level: fanaticism, zealotry, devotion.
Think about it, what happen if Nintendo decides to create it's own smartphone with it's own OS (literally invented & made in Japan iPhone & iOS)? Apple will start sweating over it, and leave pleb androids to dust (Japan is iOS nation).
