I was thinking it needs a super contrary like Contrary + Simple in one to be any good.
And even if it did get that, they compensated for lack of Huge Power, they should have done the same for other megas that are built around their abilities like Kangaskhan

They still have to consider how these Pokémon will translate to the main series when they get abilities, so I can almost guarantee you the megas like Malamar and Pyroar with underwhelming stats are gonna be getting some sort of busted ability. Possibly even completely new abilities designed specifically for them.

And Superpower was cut from the game, as well as it's stats being complete garbage and basically amounting to a Malamar holding an assault vest. They made an amazing trailer only to deliver a Mega with utter garbage stats.
