As a Brotodile fan for life, I can say with complete confidence that the Mega hasn't grown on me at all. It just doesn't look good at all. If the "fin" was down all the time and only opened to attack I'd probably like it way more, but as it is Feraligatr is just standing there with a big stupid toilet seat lid hanging over his head most of the time.

Meanwhile, shit like Mega Starmie is almost unchanged except for the longer legs which makes it funny over how such a little change can make it look so goofy.

S tier is the only mega that I think was actually great
A tier has all the others I like, but don't consider as great as S tier
B tier is stuff I have no qualms with, but I like less than the ones above.
C tier is everything I don't really care enough to like or dislike.
D tier is actual hot garbage. I like the fanart and memes for Mega Starmie, mind you, but it's fucking retarded otherwise.

Four-year-old me, playing Pokémon Crystal despite not really knowing how to read, picked Totodile as my first ever Pokémon because he looked funny. I proceeded to laugh at Croconaw because be looked like a dumb caveman. Feraligatr outgrew the silliness a little, but I never stopped thinking of him as stupid and silly.

Mega Feraligatr continues that. You can't complain that every starter for the last decade ends up being a humanoid with a job, then turn around and complain that Mega Feraligatr isn't serious enough.
