Youtubers and Streamers in the like obviously beat the game two days ago by doing multiple 10 hour streams, but unless you rushing it, you're looking at a ~30 hour playthrough if you only do a handful of sidequests, and try to catch certain pokemon or do any sort of side activities between main quests.
My guess is most players will be finishing the game early this week, and by the end of the week discussion of the ending will be more normalized.
It doesn't help that its like, not THAT exciting in the grand scheme of things, like I feel like this games story was a lot more of a standalone slice of life type thing than a true "Pokemon Z" people kinda wanted it to be. Zygarde is in an awkward place since they can't retcon the Anime / SM stuff where they retooled whatever old concepts they had for him into something thats a bit out of the norm for the game series (it really does feel more in line with the anime), so this feels moreso like its building on the kinda whatever Zygarde stuff we got already instead of re-inventing Zygarde to perhaps what people hoped he'd be after finding him in that cave in XY.
