>What if it spawns in a different areaApparently the game keep track of atleast 10 shinies, till an 11th popped up, it'll override one of those 10. The only reason the shiny will ever disappear is killing it, fleeing, capturing or override as said above. Daytime and Night have their own "encounter spawn table" so if you see a shiny and it turn into day/night at that exact moment, sleep on a brench and it'll reappear in the same spot again.
And yes, it also affects the outside area of the wild zone as well so they can spawn ontop the buildings as well for this particular reason, despite you can't get to them yet.
