A reminder that the Pokemon series was ruined by BW haters. BW was the last time they were actually interested in doing something new and reinventing themselves, they wanted to give players something fresh, while also giving new people a chance to get into the franchise. It was because of them why Pokemon went so hard nostalgia-baiting after Black and white, the small indie company got gaslit and bullied into making a U-turn because nostalgiafags were mad that they couldn't have their charizards and gengars. You could even go as far to say that they ruined the entire Pokemon series, because rather than rethinking how the series could be, the loud haters sent the message that regression was good, and that they should never try anything new ever again. This is how you get to the Pokemon games we have today, lazy slop where they can only add gimicks to give the illusion of freshness to a lifeless series forever bound by their past. Pokemon isn't relevant from it's quality, only strict adherance to brand loyality bound by nostalgia.

More people coming out about how great BW actually was and possibly the greatest games in the series is only indicative of this.
