It's like a 6-7/10, so about the same level as the original gold and silver. If you can ignore its massive flaws you will have a good time with it, but they are hard to ignore.

A 7 out of 10, I have had some fun moments but it's obvious the game needed more time to polish.

Kudos to them I have only had 2 moments of slowdown one with the Magikarp dude many have had and another where it took an awful amount of time for the litwick mission to load.
They also made most animations better and I'm enjoying Avalugg model a lot, seems to have improved from the rest.

The story is weak and too reliant on XY. The city looks the same everywhere you look which is fine for the original game because there's 10+ other towns to visit for other flavors but Pokemon cities are not fully formed enough to be the feature of an entire game. Megas are just boring. Delphox, Excadrill and Eelektross are Top 5 Pokemon for me and I don't care about any of their Megas. Dragalge and Froslass were the only ones I was impressed by. The new combat is kinda fun but the Z-A battle areas where you gank people is just a terrible implementation of it. That part is moreso fun to laugh at. Like SwSh at this point I don't like the game enough to buy the DLC. Honestly no clue what the DLC would even be. Probably just trying to resell the extra Gen 6 event only Legendaries.
