>>58493264Yep. This nigger is correct. There are so many cards in print that if they were opened in the past and put into collections like old cards were, we'd be swimming in this shit. But because every nigger hoards their cards in brown postage boxes, the number in circulation is limited and it is more easily pumped by modern shitters. Even if pull rates are worse, there are so many more cards in print that there are probably significantly more modern SIRs than people want to admit.
For example, if holos back then were 1:3 packs, so 1:33 cards and SIRs from the end of SV were 1:80 packs so 1:800. And based on estimates for number of cards printed back in 99/00 and official figures for 23/24 at 1 billion vs 12 billion. There were 30 million holos printed back then and 15 million SIRs.
Even though SIRs are relatively rarer, there should be enough in circulation that they're really not that much rarer than OG holofoils in absolute terms. This is also ignoring lesser rarity cards. IRs for example, are typically 1:10, so there should be a good billion of them in circulation from the last year alone.
