I don't even like it that much but my favorite water types are Milotic and Swampert who tend to be unavailable while Gyarados is always there.

I admit, I'm addicted to Moxie gyarados.
Single-handedly solves most if no all problems, and for the ones that he can't, it's just because rain isn't set.
