>>58490295I started with Chikorita since I always pick Grass starters, but around the time you meet Emma, I went back and restarted with Totodile. I had already used Chikorita before in Johto, so figured I would try using a new starter.
Played all the way up to the Rogue Absol battle, but it just did not feel right with Feraligatr. That, and its Mega Evolution SUCKS. AND I had actually caught a Shiny Flabebe like two hours into the Chikorita save.
So I eventually went back to the Chikorita save and have been playing it ever since. Just feels more "right" to me.
