>>58495115Doubt the game is gonna give an excuse for it, but IRL those ARE there to prevent homeless people from sleeping on them. They've been doing that with more and more things in cities, like having vents with some of the ridges poking higher so people don't sit/lay on them when they're cold, or by sticking spikes onto the ground in little nooks and overhangs to keep homeless people from hunkering down there when it rains.
Still doesn't stop lines of homeless people sleeping(?) on the main walkway from the ferry whenever I go to Seattle though.
