>>58495419>LGPE6/10. I've played through Kanto way too many times, and the catching really isn't my thing in this style of game, but it was cute, the pokériding was great, and Kanto is still a good region in a vacuum.
>Sword/Shield without DLC4/10. I don't like dynamaxes, nor the story. The wild area is very small despite being nice, the game is insanely short. The gym puzzles are the best in the series, the colors are really nice, and route 8/9 are good/incredible respectively, but that's it. No real dungeons outside of Galar mines, alas. It can't be stressed how short this game is.
>Sword/Shield with DLC.7/10. The caves in Crown tundra are cool, lots of side areas, it's basically the Wild area of base game, but better (verticality, branching paths) and longer. Dynamax adventures is also kind of really fun.
>PLAAn incredibly subjective 8/10. The catching is the best in the series, and there is like 3 fun trainer fights. Discovering evolutions and cryptic shit is my jam, so it was a joy for those, and make the Manaphy quest connection. The solo trials are working extra-hard to ensure there are fights worth doing, however.
>SV without DLC6/10. Longer than sword and shield, I also really like the new mons. The biggest con is that for an open world, it sure can feel empty. The Stakes for the quartet are working overtime to make you explore, but it isn't really rewarding. The lacks of really hidden zones for a unique spawn hurts this game a lot : only Iron valiant/Roaring moon have an hidden unique spawn area.
The map design itself also feel pretty barren, with the best areas either being at the end of the game (Area zero) or completely optional (the non-climb route towards the Psychic gym).
>SV with DLC
8.5/10, the Kitakami mountain is a really cool place and probably the best 3D dungeon (there is no competition, truthfully). The terarium focusing on doubles is also a cool change of pace, and prove challenging enough without feeling bullshit.
