It was fucking retarded, but up until Gen 6 you could almost get away with believing it. Of course Skeledirge was the most blatantly obvious "fuck you it's not real" they could give so everyone who didn't get a clue could in fact get one, but the point still stands that they made some slightly odd choices (Incineroar less so, Tiger Mask is a big deal).
