>>58505529Same build I use for most Delcatty solo runs
Return is my go to Normal stab, takes care of most enemies easily. I believed I used Tackle before getting Return, don’t think I used Covet or Facade in XY but those are usually intermediary normal stabs if Return is not obtained easily in a Pokémon game.
Feint Attack is what I use to deal with Ghost types, it is physical and usually has enough power to KO ghost types, it is learned through level up so no need to worry about TMs.
Wake Up Slap is what I use to deal with Rock and Steel types, also learned by level up. After I learn Wake Up slap, it is safe to evolve Skitty, which I did after the second gym.
Lastly I used Sing for sleep set ups(which I did not have to use because XY is easy)
XY gives you the best item in Pokemon, the lucky egg. With this, Delcatty easily soars in level advantage, she was level 100 before the elite 4 with zero grinding.
None of the elite four members you mentioned were any issue, their Pokemon were much weaker than mine. That combined with O powers, makes it impossible to lose
Hardest part was the first gym, which wasn’t hard but she had a chance to beat my Skitty unlike every other gym leader. I think I whited out twice, once to a team flare double battle early on and the other because I accidentally accepted battling a Sky trainer and my level 3 Pidgey fly slave couldn’t handle that.
Also yes you never ever use Normalize Delcatty, even if you are not doing a solo run, that ability is a total detriment until Gen 7 and it is still bad then. Cute Charm is the way to go. You usually unlock hidden abilities too late for Wonder Skin to matter.
