>Sun and MoonI don't remember any real hints at them either. There's the dynamic of Sun being an accident-prone punching bag and Moon being the medic, and the scene where Moon gets attacked and Sun gets mad and defends her, but that's all I know.
Expectations on romance in PokeSpe are also skewed because of how elaborate and confirmed Ruby/Sapphire was. For instance, Black/White has enough solid evidence to be more than just shipper delusion, it's obvious their clear crushes on each other were part of how Kusaka wanted to market the BW arc and siphon money from romance fans.
