It's really nice how the anime shows Pokémon forming relationships with each other. It's cute and interesting when we see Pokémon fall in love in the anime. In the games there's not really much like that. Sure we do see our Pokémon interact to some small degree, such as in Pokémon Camp and Picnics, but it's not like our Pokémon forming relationships with each other is much a game mechanic.
>>58514632Not really. Honestly, the breeding system in the main games is so heavily flawed with bizarre lore, strange logic and outright going against the morals of the franchise. There's no real relationships tracking with it. You can have Pokémon breed right after hatching, regardless of familial relation, with not really any pair bonding and even if they "don't get along". It really feels like it was designed with gameplay first and the "lore" just tacked on, such as the issue how the Egg gets there. And remember that yet, Pokémon all have at least human-level cognition.
