Save in front of it, knock it out, throw from behind, reload if failed. Takes 5 minutes if you have been buying the catch charms.

Why do some Pokémon have a higher catch rate on the last chance capture if they're an alpha as opposed to regular size? Knocked-out regular Onix only has three arrow icons with Ultra Balls and all catch charms while an alpha has four.

probably designed that way because alphas take more effort to defeat than normal pokemon
it's like how shinies have a higher catch rate now
