What’s interesting about mega Skarmory is that on paper it makes sense. Make it golden and sharper. But Game Freak is such a black hole of stupidity that the fuck up a fairly simple idea.
Game Freak absolutely hates some Pokémon, but in Skarmory’s case it’s that game freak is so incompetent that even the Pokémon they try to shill are catching strays.
