A few of the Megas we don't see here do share a type specialization with some Kalos characters, Tatsugiri is a Water type that has a food theme, so I could imagine Siebold having it, Mega Scovillain has a duplicity theme going on, so Malva fits with it. Shiny Diancie is legal so it would be a waste, it should be shiny Hoopa. The other pokedex count the DLC additions as well (ie you can't get shiny Keldeo by completing the Galar dex, you need the Armor dex and the Tundra dex as well) so using a weird Hoopa as reward for completing the dex of the base game and the Hoopa DLC sounds fitting

All of these are either low stakes that had barely any role in the original games so that they could build off of them easily (Mable) or characters that had a rushed arc in the original games (Emma, AZ, Lysander).

Unless there is a reason to bring back an older character they will all be OCs. Given how the Lumiose npcs talk about characters like clemont, diantha, siebold, malva etc... there is barely any chance old characters from XY or other games make a return. Like there is no reason to. It's easier for GF to just make OCs which is exactly what they did for ZA

Yep, however of those, two were tied to the evil team, one the cause of the plot and the other a post-game only NPC. They also chose NOT to bring back any of the NPC's that were unrelated to the Legendary plot of XY, including excusing the appearances of two NPC/'s critical to XY's progression (because they weren't related to the Team Flare plot) and destroying the gym of one. they had EVERY fucking opportunity to MAKE it that rehash of XY you didn't get on 3DS.. They didn't take ANY of them, because they weren't fucking interested MAKING an XY rehash in 2023.

All original Z-A megas aside Kalos starters which are ranked season rewards appeared during the main story as either Rogue boss fights or trainer battles starting from Vinnie. It seems like Mega Dimension will have 6 boss fights using the new megas so I'm assuming all or most of the other 16 are going to be used as trainer battles. My trainer predictions:

>Clemont and Bonnie with one Megachu each
>Korrina with new Mega Lucario
>Sycamore with new Mega Garchomp
>(Rival) Calem/Serena with new Mega Absol
>Geeta will somehow appear with Mega Glimmora
>New OCs using Chimecho, Golurk, Crabominable, Golisopod, the other two Tatsugiri and Bax
>Magearna will have a main plot role

I think this might be way too many new trainers for a DLC but if it follows the logic of the original game then it should have a lot of trainers. 22 is a really large number of new designs after all.

Sootopolis is the best candidate. It's already closed off so it should be easy to model, has the Cave of Origin for the Primals, and AZ visited there over 1,000 years ago and planted a tree.

The anime document from Teraleak makes it seem like Zeraora is the Zygarde from the DLC and the boss fights leaks also put it in the last position implying it's the final boss (unless the leaker manually adjusted the order that specific way). I think the other signature is Fleur Cannon evolving, there's no fucking way it isn't related to Ultimate Weapon/Ange/Eternal Flower

I mean, compare Raihan to the eighth gym leaders of other regions and his team isn't that outstanding, he would kick Wulfric and Volkner's arses, but he would get demolished by Giovanni, Clair would very likely kick his ass, hard to say on Wallace or Juan, they have the type advantage but awful teams, Drayden and Iris would be tough competition and Grusha despite being an Ice leader with mediocre mons could put up quite a challenge if he played his cards right.
Raihan is just an overhyped celebrity and the Galar league is extremely corrupt. Duraludon is a fucking awful Pokemon, and Raihan even with his best team doesn't really stand much of a chance against quite a few champions, I think even Diantha kicks his ass despite being a busy actress who just so happens to be champion compared to Raihan who's only profession is being a battler.

The 4,300 weight is interesting, because that would make it the heaviest pokemon ever by a huge margin. If it's pounds, then it hits all but the forty or so heaviest pokemon for max power, specifically mega fug and anything heavier. The thing with Galar is that the mechanic is so shoehorned into their region and culture, that theres really no reason to give them anything other than morr gmaxes. Current gmaxes either went to kantomons or galarmon (+ garbobor). Its great that GF didnt go the kalos route and actually gave galarmons the ability to use their gimmick. A lot of these choices for the mons they gave Megas don't make sense, like why doesn't Palafin gets a Mega, isn't their whole thing hero vs villian.
