Galar is literally a hallway in terms of region design and route. I didn't really enjoy Paldea either but at least the biomes do make sense. I'll take a circle over a line

Obviously better. Galar is split up into an absolutely dog shit boring open zone, and routes that feel tacked and mostly don't stand out. Gen 8 is obviously the result of a lot of compromises. Paldea on the other hand embraces the open exploration concept and lays out progression plainly as you travel south to north and splits your unlocks nicely between the story quests.

Worse, better rivels, but ultimately worse region, and galar isn't very good to begin with, it had a certain stink to it.
I haven't really liked a region since X and Y, and even that was a wet fart compared to the region prior.
3D was a mistake, they have proven time and time again that they have no grasp of 3D

Paldea but I think it should've been broken up into zones like PLA and the towns should've been on separate maps.
