PLA's system is slow, uninteractive, and is basically just a soft timelimit on how many times you can roll the pokeball dice before you catch the pokemon.

It was just nice to be in a different setting.
It made a lot of their design flaws and inadequacies stand out less. Almost like they had actual direction and vision, and designed their game around (retarded) budgetary and time limitations. Almost.

It unironically looks better than ZA. Sure ZA has higher graphic fidelity and resolution, but X/Y at least has a consistent artstyle that does what it can with the limited hardware.

Imagine if we could explore more of Kalos with the same graphics as ZA. I think it would have been a great game if they added more locations, even if it wasn't all the cities available in XY

LA was the first time I'd felt a proper sense of adventure in Pokémon since Gen 5. I already have more nostalgia for it than any game between B2W2 and LA. I honestly wish I could forget everything about it and replay it again.
