Hi, anons! Sorry for making a thread for this, but I thought it would be a fun idea if some anons feel like joining in. I've followed Screenshot LPs for a long time, and I enjoy reading them on LPArchive a lot, but I noticed there weren't many for Pokémon (due to the nature of Pokémon games, I imagine it's difficult). I wanted to make something along those lines for a long time, and recently I decided to give it a try.

Here's the website where I'm hosting the Markdowns for the LP. It's just a static site where you can read everything easily like LPArchive. https://publish.obsidian.md/zilnull-lps/MediaLogs/Games/Pokemon/PokemonRBY/000_Index
The basic idea for this playthrough is the following. I'm going to explore everything and do everything in the games (while writing everything that happens in-game), BUT with a bit of a story-telling twist. You are not Red, you are someone who has suddenly taken over Red and needs to figure out why they're in this world. This meta layer is kind of in the background, just to justify the mechanics of the LP.

I'm open to suggestions about things to do in game. Feel free to suggest restrictions, feel free to suggest random ideas. There's a "side quest" section with missions, feel free to suggest some and I'll maybe implement them into the LP if they're entertaining and possible! The only rules are that I don't want to apply any patches to the game, at most I will use PkHex (and I'll be somewhat selective with these, as I want this LP to be as close to vanilla RBY as possible).
Any suggestions, and any restrictions that get implemented will be canonized somehow into the LP. That is to say, feel free to be mean to our MC :)
If you're curious, I've pre-written up to receiving Oak's Parcel so you can get a feel for the vibe of the LP. The intention is for it to feel like something between TPP and a regular LP. Even if this doesn't catch on, I'll still probably try and finish the LP because... well, I like writing like a maniac.
