We praise Z-A for features that are basically a given in any other franchise. This time I'm not even talking about the laughable graphics, but the gameplay itself, which you guys always claim is super fun and the game's redeeming quality.

Let's take the new battle system. Sure, it's good. But only when compared to previous Pokemon games. It's still just a dumbed down version of the battle system in Xenoblade.
Pokemon Z-A is basically a mashup of watered down mechanics from other games, but because it has the Pokemon label on it, we somehow give it more praise than it deserves.
