>>58587278>>58587124>>58587133New Normal and Skies were extremely consistent fics. Skies was pumping out massive walltexts every fucking day and Normal has been religiously updating thrice a week for nearly three years now.
Vicky is pretty consistent too. Sure, it takes hiatuses, but it gives the up ahead, and when it returns, updates come out consistently.
There's no lack of journeyfics and longfics out there right now. And even if we say Pokemon fanfics are "dead" there's plenty of short-mid length fics pumped out every day. Them not appealing to this thread's tastes is a wholly different matter. I'll never read fujofics, but saying they don't count is kinda silly.
>>58584999>>58585102This is absolute schizo babble.
We've spoken about this topic at length in previous threads and we've all but agreed that what truly "killed" Pokemonfics was Gen 8 and Galar being such a worthless piece of shit. If Gen 5 had been the one that killed Pokemonfics then over half the shit this thread reads wouldn't even exist.
Now, if you want to talk about there not being a current "the fanfic" anymore then I would say you have a point. Borne and Hard Enough were the last of that, as we can see from how even now we see plenty of "inspired by BoC and HE" stuff.
I personally believe that Journeyfics aren't dead but they have definitively stagnated. How to break away from the status quo? Fuck if I know.
