What you're failing to understand is that the point I was trying to make is that Meganium's design philosophy of "it's just a cartoon dinosaur with flowers" is perfectly in line for a fully evolved Gen 2 Pokemon, because the most popular fully evolved Gen 1 Pokemon was Charizard.
