If it's true that Z-A was finished a year ago and was delayed a year for Switch 2, DeNA should have been informed by Game Freak about the new form. But I guess instead of giving a shit about brand synergy they wanted to pretend last year didn't happen and only started promoting Z-A this year with some of the absolute worst marketing I'd ever seen from a supposed multibillion dollar franchise. Ain't no fucking way Z-A was being worked on this year, the game feels just as sloppy as every other Game Freak game, if not more so

Doesn't look like diapers at all. Diapers are fat. This is just a wrestling singlet combined with a knight tunic thingy. Would be better if it was longer like a templar thing, but they clearly wanted to keep the medieval doublet prince look because lol cheap reskins = no remodeling.

I did really like that they revisited him in gen 2 though. Brought the world to life by seeing old characters like him and Giovanni moving up/down in the world rather than abandoned and forgotten for new flavor of the generation.

It just feels like Lance was meant to be something, Idk, bigger, in the Pokemon world. I mean, the anime made him part of some secretive detective unit, and it was shown operating in both Johto and Hoenn, and most likely had a presence in Kanto, too. This is of course in addition to his Elite Four status and a master of dragon types, which back in the early days of Pokemon, felt like it put him in a legendary trainer class.

I don't remember exactly what they produced, mostly assorted acrylics, some tins and stickers and other cheap collectibles for like 20 characters. I think for Lance specifically they left out his lodge pic acrylics which I'm fine with because his lodge arts are ass.

I am quite an explorer of accounts on pixiv, twitter and poipiku that sometimes don't use tags and such for their art dumps, so through years and years my fav pokeboys collection grew a lot so that I had to use an external drive for back up just in case. And now some AI artists are so good with prompts that you don't see the shit from two years ago with glitched anatomy and missing OG design signature details, some AI even made look complex Pokemon design like organic artist drawings which shocked me more than how fast the AI adapted to the human characters. I like the new art dumps from the AI but traditional artists who love specific trainers have the props of finding new interesting scenarios and interactions for them and an artstyle that keeps them distinct and enjoyable but have to admit AI is also getting good at replicating artstyles nowadays but is also locked behind the rare skills at putting quality prompts to deliver great results.
