Love that. I think there was at least one anime episode where when in the water, Vaporeon was able to turn invisible. A water/ghost mega evolution typing would be really cool.

Eeveelution is already well received by fans and they couldn't afford to let one slip up to ruin the original set.

They can sell as many merch as they want with the existing 9 Pokemon so long as fans are still warmed up to them and the franchise as a whole.
