Yeah. I remember finding it jarring, back in 2012.

Better question: did anyone else notice that Diancie’s menu sprite was updated between XY and ORAS? I remember finding that jarring on release too.

Untrue. The initial Diancie distribution events in Japan and the USA both ended before ORAS were out. Only Europe had their initial distro coincide with ORAS’s release.
