They removed it because the map doesn't load fast enough if the character moves quickly; this already happens when running, there's a video of a guy who fell off the map.

rollers wheren't that fast in game. They could also limit it to streets and not roof for obvious reasons. Fuck just add a minigame with it so it's not abut loading the map, just have us to some indoor races and some stylish acrobatics for the photo mode
