>>58586357They were killed by Covid, the Zarude movie's premiere got delayed half a year (and performed poorly because Pokemon movies are a summer thing and Covid was still ongoing at the time) and no new movie got started due to the entire mess that caused.
The movies need to be planned years in advance too since they're tieins to mythical promotion campaigns. Can't have a new movie unless the mythical it's going to shill is already in the game.
