I understand where it was coming from but nowadays everything feels underdesigned if anything, some sorrt of simple playdough base with bits stuck on.
Compare Nidoking to Baxcalibur, the amount of lines, the definition of different parts, its messed up, idk when specifically it happened, possibly gen 8, but it feels like an over-correction.
