Saying Mega Ordile reminded them so much about their childhood of watching kamen rider zero one few years ago. Few others in her classroom talks about Meganium and Chikorita too along with Pokabu (Tepig) and Enbuo (Emboar) and it was days after the release of ZA.
Another friend of mine in the circle who’s been working in Japan for 16 years now, we’ve been trading Pokémon the other day to complete our dex, I told him if hes aware of the hate that Feraligatr (because he’s a fan of Totodile) has been getting and he knows about it but the Mega Evo seals the deal for him and nothing else, because he says seeing Feraligatr with the Totodile mask is a cool concept and it brings back his memories of watching old school Kamen rider shows like Agito and Zio in the past.
