the weirdest part about northeast paldea is that they blacked out the area on the map instead of having it be featureless mountains
the DLC maps didn't have that issue, so why did they bother for paldea? 'well there canonically might be actual areas there' isn't much of a good reason when you have examples like BW2 unova canonically having areas (most obviously the Strange House) that were not present on the BW1 map
