When people thinks "groomer", people thinks rapist. But is a more broad concept.
Salesmen groom you to buy/contract items and services. Some religious groups groom you to follow/belief in their faiths. Even the modern internet, with the many "social engineers", groom people to think and react in different ways. Most of the time in useless arguments so people miss the larger picture.
