One time when I was at the Battle Frontier in Johto I saw a guy put on a pair of Choice Specs. He started babbling and stumbling about, a few people started staring. I followed him for a bit and eventually he got tackled by security for trying to climb over the Battle Factory counter. The Specs fell off and he snapped back to normal. It's a good thing he didn't try the Scarf or Band or they might not have been able to stop him.
I think about that moment alot. Is it really ethical to give these mind-altering items to our Pokemon? We should stick with natural things like berries.

How the hell is this an inflation thread? Air balloon doesn't inflate your Pokémon (I assume). I just assumed its a balloon you attach to them on a string so they float like flying pikachu.

OP image is a reverse air balloon. It does nothing until you get hit, then you gain flying type for the rest of the battle.
Smogon banned it quickly after release for a few reasons, such as immunity to Spikes, making Great Tusk and Gliscor look bad, and the dreaded Unburden Acrobatics Sneasler set that could sweep teams without needing to set up or use Tera at all. It also worked with Fling, so you could give something weaknesses it didn't want, then exploit them later even after a switch out.

On both side of the aisle, it's only a problem when I want humans and I can't find any. And considering it's dA, finding decent full body that even goes "spherical" is like sadly asking for a lot. Course, speaking from experience drawing inflation is deceptively difficult. It's no wonder people just draw a mspaint circle and call it a day, it takes serious effort to envision what anatomy might appear as and how to make it all look good.
