The extra thing is that neither ZA or LA are Johto games. They also don't shit on other Johto designs, Hisui Sneasel is fine and so is Sneasler, and Wyrdeer and Ursaluna are also fine, giving attention to some incredibly forgotten Johtomons without fucking their designs up. And even if you dislike those, and we bring in the masuda hate from the leaks, they didn't even shit on the Unova mons despite snubbing the region. They got plenty of Paradox counterparts that don't disrespect the design in the way Toilet Gatr does, and Mega Emboar is the most positively recieved according to polls on the starter megas. Sure the region is condemned to hell forever and will never see another game, but the Pokemon are treated fine.
