They look the same, Mega's is just bigger because it's probably going to be a physical attacker. Could've gotten a Fighting type. But at least the mega has (admittedly, unmodeled) divisions/fingers as opposed to the regular's true nubs.

I already explained possible reasons they’re bigger, but if size alone sends you into a meltdown, that’s on you. Objects can look the same while being different sizes -- scale doesn’t magically turn paws into ‘tumours,’ but apparently it turns your reading comprehension off.

They should’ve spent a few generations with them before moving onto Z moves — and then spend only a single gen on Z moves, because who the fuck cares about those? By their very nature of needing a large stadium, I could only picture Dynamax/Gmax lasting a single gen too.
Ultimately, I think the whole “new gimmick every generation” was a mistake and I hope we move away from that in Gen 10. Keep 1-5 as the 2D era, 6-9 as the gimmick era, and Gen 10 on as something more…back to the basics

I think there’s a good chance that gen 10 will be pretty different to what we’ve gotten in recent times.
ZA feels like it’s the beta test for what might come later, sort of like SwSh’s wild area compared to all of SV.

The fact you had to divide "Pikachu's proportions" into three lines to outnumber how Mega X ruins Raichu's color palette (which is by far the most notorious change that tells it apart from Pikachu) AND tail proves how dishonest and full of shit you are.
Mega Y looks like Raichu getting some traits from its preevo like many other megas do, Mega X looks like if Pikachu took anabolics and evolved into Gorochu instead of Raichu
