Have they made it harder to do shit like this now? I haven't seemed to have gotten any hacked mons yet but I've only been fucking with it for a couple days in the pokemon home version.

Don't think I ever got anything notable but I came up with a good way of fucking with WT giveaways back in the day
>breed a bunch of onix
>give them all metal coats
>start sending them out during a giveaway
>reciever is forced to sit through onix evolving and trying to learn half a dozen new moves
>they miss the next trade windows because of it

I havent used wonder trade since X and Y.

I still have a bunch of rioulu i was using for wonder trade fun. I might as well toss them in now and see what happens.

If you get a rioulu from 2016 let me know.

I fell out of pokemon before wondertrade became a thing, and got back into it during the switch era but don't care enough to buy nintendo online. But I do like pokemon home and I have fun wondertrading on it. I take whatever mons I get through it, evolve and nickname them, and trade them back.

It was basically all early-route trash, breedjects, or hacked shinies/legendaries. But the most special mon I got was in Gen 7: a level 80+ Ribombee named Bienchen (diminutive version of the German word for bee), and she had the ribbon you get for beating the champion. I guess she was part of someone's ingame team. Don't know why they gave her away on WT, but it was cool to get a mon that someone used and presumably had some connection with. I seem to recall I trained her the rest of the way to level 100 and used her in online battles. I already had a Ribombee I’d trained myself, but I gave them both different movesets so they’d serve different roles.

Someone did give me their own shiny blissey they caught but man. I fucking hate wt in this game and how long it takes
