He made a domino effect in the whole TCG community, so you are no longer collecting cards for meta value, you are collecting cards to hope you get a rare card and earn like a million dollars out of one shitty card.

Logan Paul started the inital crazy. From like 2020 to now theres been at least 2 big booms. The first one i remember was during Vivid Voltage/Champions Path where fags chased after gmax pika and charizard. Logan Paul's video was absolutely helped with that boom. The current boom happened after Surging Sparks released. TCG Pocket was 100% responsible for this crazy as while as insane nostalgia baiting in SV era with 151 set, Destined Rivals etc.... It doesnt really help that the TCG in general has just been getting better and better every set on terms of beautiful artwork.

in some areas stores get completely wiped out as soon as they're restocked. i'd rather children and fans get to collect and play it
