I just finished the game with 92 hours played. I wanted to take my sweet time since I've been waiting for Pokémon Z since the release of XY. I remember being in the midnight release haha.
I basically did a PoC without intending to do it; I just couldn't get the Alpha Chespin line, the Alpha fossils and the exclusives to zone 20, but I did get every screw and get to A rank in both seasons. I mainly finished it today because of the release of Zygarde in ranked battles.
I finished with 540-ish battles, level 48 in the Mable's research and 215 Pokémon catched. It was fun; I avoided using online guides and Serebii. For online, I even avoided Smogon and just went with Glaceon and freeze dry strat, Mega Gyarados and Soft Sand Garchomp: i got into the meta without knowing haha
However, since the game leaked, I knew that I was going to hunt the Shiny Alpha Fossils eventually, and I'm making arrangements for that: would buying 960 fossils and a turbo controller work fine for hunting? Or would you guys go with macro stuff? I've used automation programs in gen 8 and 9, so that wouldn't be an issue
If the info that twitter threw at me randomly, it is a 1/100 for the fossils and a regular shiny chance, not affected by the charm, right? So about 1/400k, right? Do you guys have any info regarding resets per hour?
I'm kinda of an OCD maniac and I was already 80% into a shiny living home dex and every full generation living dex, so a shiny alpha living dex fits right into the OCD and my autism
