What do you think they're going to do? Every new non-Ranked Mega Stone was given to a important trainer or fought as a Rogue and we already know all the new Rogues.

Mega Lucario Z having the same typing as current Mega Lucario is really upsetting. Hopefully it has a significant change in stat spread and ability to make up for it.
Descriptions reference it becoming more defensive and focusing its aura. So maybe chop down Speed and Attack, then pump them into its bulk and Special Attack?
I really hope Mega Garchomp Z and Mega Absol Z do not follow and have new typings. Swap in Water or Flying for the former, add in Fairy or Poison for the latter?

All I ask is that Mega Darkrai, Heatran, and Golurk are good. If the supposed leaks on Darkrai and Heatran's stats are to be believed, then I'm happy on Heatran being a speedier attack monster, but Darkrai losing all its speed to become a chunky bulkster like Scolipede is going to suck major balls unless they give it a move or ability making it completely immune to Fairy type attacks, on top of a Ghost typing. I have mild interest in Garchomp Z, Lucario Z, Glimmora, and Scovillain as well.

This is like the most stressful thing I feel cause it's so close and it's either gonna be Darkrai's make or break moment after it got totally raped over a Smeargle.

Staraptor will probably just bigger and more feathers like Mega Pidegot and Tsuguri will probably be a bit like the Wishiwasi line

I'm hoping Mega Absol Z turns evil and gains a super mean ability in Champions. I was thinking about Super Luck but it increases crit ratio by +2 (50% chance of every attack to crit, Night Slash always crits).

The rumor seems to be Hoenn starters are next ranked rewards and then it will prob cycle back since none of these Pokemon seem “special” enough except like Garchomp Z. And once Gen 10 is revealed, they’ll drop the Z-A hype. Plus more ranked reward Megas means less reason to buy the DLC since anyone with online without the DLC can just get the Mega stone and trade them in

I see some people saying that Glimmora will get Corrosion but I think that would actually be detrimental. It doesn’t work well as a Toxic spreader because of its shitty typing and middling Speed tier. It’s not unheard of for Megastar to get one of their normal abilities. Toxic Debris will never be a bad thing. The absolute worst case scenario would be for there to be no boost to Speed and a useless ability but I am doubtful that both of those will happen (especially at the same time) and Gamefreak cannot possibly be stupid enough to give it the Darkrai treatment of making it slower and bulkier (though I am worried that there will be no speed boost).

This is way too much effort. Also a good amount of these could just be used by korrina since she has like a dozen or so stones on her body. Theres no reason to think any character is returning. New megas will prob just be used by npcs or alt universe versions of za characters. The DLC is just here to bide us some time to Feb 2026 and for champions to release. Even GF knows that ZA has no longevity

Every single mega they have shown for the DLC's batch has been raw ass. I've been really hoping that Golisopod and Golurk will come out unscathed, but my hopium well is drying up

I don’t think they would try to shill Geeta again. SV is kind of finished now in terms of relevance, ZA is going to replace it momentarily and then GF will move on to Gen 10. They had an opportunity to shill Glimmora in the trailers and didn’t take it, so I doubt they will do it once the DLC releases.

We'll probably get an global trailer 2 days before American release. New Zealand gets the game 17 hours before the US. That's 25 hours before the typical 9am EST news drops.

2 days before US launch is effectively 1 day before the floodgates open from NZ release.
