>>58702238They're aleady printing record numbers and still selling out. You don't seem to understand the insane levels of demand at the moment. More than half of all Pokémon cards ever, have been printed in the last 5 years. In the past, 1-2 billion cards were printed per year, and since 2020, it's been 8-12 billion, with this year's projections being 15 billion.
The problem is that since 2020, we've had nostalgic 90s kids come back into the hobby off the back of hearing viral news stories of big money sales, The amount of packs that an individual consumes has increased far beyond the production levels.
For example, say 1-2 billion cards were printed in the early 00s. Most of the hobby was children who could only buy 1-2 packs per week with their allowances. Now, it's individuals buying 200+ packs every few weeks. So unless TPCI up production to like >100 billion cards per year, the demand will still be so high that you won't see anything.
