what are some good dungeons or routes in the 3D era?

I always believe that area where the stone crab was located was a top tier maze

I agree, that area was good but could've been way better. What Gamefreak should have done to make the game seem much larger, run way better, and be way more imaginative, was separate the areas like they did in PLA.
I don't mean, teleport the player to each area, but make a gate that separates the area and block them off with unpassable trees or cliffs so that the world seems much bigger and is much better designed.
