>>58704547yes that's all obvious but the point is that by pulling the lever and letting the 5 people live, you are getting involved and thus "killing" the 1 individual, whereas by just letting the 5 people die you didn't get involved in anything and thus have no fault or guilt
would you rather step in and cause the death of someone who would otherwise live, or merely watch as all the things that would have happened if you weren't there still happen?
